With the involvement of the city stakeholders and the technical support of EPTA Environmental Consultants Engineers “the Sustainable Energy Action Plan” of the City of Megara was completed and submitted to the Office of the Covenant of Mayors, with the aim to reduce CO2 emissions by almost 36% within the limits of the municipality in 2020.

The 1st set of training seminars on Promoting Sustainable Public Procurement in Local Authorities was successfully implemented through the collaboration of EPTA S.A., Ecological Recycle Society (ERS) and the Regional Union of Municipalities of Attica (PEDA). The seminars took place at the premises of PEDA on the 3rd and 4th of October 2012 and were attended by 41 representatives from Local Authorities and other relevant stakeholders.
The company EPTA S.A. was awarded the contract for the provision of the consulting services for the project: “Municipal Solid Waste Treatment Infrastructures of Achaia Prefecture” through Public Private Partnership (PPP). EPTA has recently been selected as the technical advisor of the City of Patras, through its Municipal Development Enterprise ADEP SA, for the implementation of the PLUS programme, which is funded under INTERREG IVC. The City of Egaleo has successfully submitted to the Committee of the Covenant of Mayors the Sustainable Energy Action Plan describing the measures for succeeding the targets of 20-20-20 by 2020. EPTA has collaborated with Centre for Renewable Energy Source (CRES) for developing the Baseline Emission Inventory.
